When we stumbled upon Ruby’s story on social media, we were deeply saddened to learn about her ordeal with cyberbullying and online trolling due to her alopecia. We were eager to learn more about her and find ways to offer our support.
We are thrilled to be providing Ruby with a CNC scalp prosthetic hair system, which will undoubtedly be a game-changer for her. The process of creating the CNC casting has already begun, and soon it will be sent to Bologna, Italy for fabrication. Witnessing the challenges Ruby faced, we were determined to turn the negative aspects of social media into something positive.
Our goal is to raise awareness for children with alopecia and commend the admirable work carried out by @alopeciauk in providing children with alopecia the opportunity to enjoy weekends away and spend time with others who share their condition. We eagerly await Ruby’s new hair system, which will give her the crown she truly deserves. With or without hair, Ruby is a cheerful, delightful, and stunning young girl, and her hair is simply an extension of her beautiful self!
